Once an input has been selected, and the soundfield is shown in the display (it takes a couple of seconds for this to show after an input is selected), turn the jog dial (item 18 on page 26 of the manual) counter clockwise. It will start to scroll info about the signal. Keep going until the end, and the S/W version will be shown. This is detailed on page 52 of the manual. It is a box called "Viewing detailed information about the audio source".
